Hampden-Booth Theatre Library at the Players

Hampden-Booth at the Players Theatre Library is a unique collection of rare 19th century American and British theater souvenirs, books, photos, quick-books, costumes and scenery. Left originally by the famous actor Edwin Booth as a resource for young theater actors in the profession, today the library is open to researchers who can demonstrate the need to use primary source material, and secondary material rare in this field.
