You eat well and it is cheap
This Lebanese restaurant is located in the neighborhood of Lavapiés in Madrid, getting trendier. I recommend going for a few beers, and on Sundays you have El Rastro next to it.
The truth is this place has been a real discovery because you eat very well and it is cheap. It is based on Arabic food, you can choose starters from hummus, baba ganush falafel... You also have sandwiches: Shawarma, cheese Laben or Falafel. Some good salads or typical dishes like "pastela". I'll explain a little because you have to try it.
It is made of puff pastry, chicken and almonds and a touch of cinnamon and it is very tasty. You can also choose couscous, tajines, maklube and various dishes.
You will see for yourself you have a large range to choose from, but I recommend the pastela, and the meat is very good. As I said it is cheap: 7.50€.
If you like belly dance on Fridays and Saturdays at about 11 pm there is a very cool dance show. It is also a tea room so you can enjoy some delicious teas with the typical Arabic pastry.
Getting there is very easy: right at Lavapiés subway station. By the way, if you are wondering what the Arabic word "habibi" means, it is "my love" or "beloved".
