Tower of Guzmán

Located in the Plaza de Santa Catalina, de Conil de la Frontera is one of the few historic buildings in the town and has a special place in its heart. Gothic style, it was built by "Guzmán el Bueno" in the early fourteenth century to defend the Muslims along with others located along the coast. It was called Guzman Tower for over two centuries. Its location sets the stage for the celebration of events and shows throughout the summer, especially the Fiestas de la Virgen del Carmen held in July.
