Guatemala City

I never thought that this trip would give so much of itself. You have everything you could imagine, beautiful scenery, humble and loving people, Mayan to colonial landmarks. And, obviously, Guatemala City, a very advanced city, with its fine dining and entertainment areas. We liked rural Guatemala, which had to be explored, and we did. Its colorful villages are wonderful and touch your soul, and places that impress you with its beauty. It could spend hours describing it, but it's better for you to discover it yourself. For those who don't speak a lot of English, it is a Spanish-speaking area. Also,

Guatemala is an intriguing adventure land waiting for you to come discover the most beautiful sites and the most beautiful people. The friendly words in Spanish, the bright colors, the gorgeous natural settings nearby make this travel spot on the top of my list.

I spent a month traveling around Guatemala and fell in love with the warmth of the people's hearts who took us in for dinner, the helpfulness of fellow travels, and the remote landscapes that took your breath away. I have never felt more alive then in this wonderful country and I can't wait to return.

The dark shadowy one is inside the metropolitan Cathedral in Zone 1 the other one is the old presidential palace which is known as the Guacamole because of it's avocado green facade.
