Grey Lake

Este lago, situado en el parque de las Torres del Paine, al sur de Chile, destaca por los témpanos de hielo que el viento arrastra a la orilla contraria a donde se encuentra el glaciar del mismo nombre. La forma de llegar es en el bus del parque hasta la última parada y allí, una furgoneta viene a recoger a los clientes de la Hostería del lago Grey (puedes montar sin ser cliente del hotel, negociando el precio con el conductor). Una vez en las cercanias del lago, puedes andar por la orilla tocando los tempanos, pero si tienes tiempo, recomiendo que contrates una excursión en barco al glaciar Grey.

This lake, located in the park of Torres del Paine in southern Chile, highlighted by the ice floes that the wind drags the opposite bank to where the glacier of the same name is located. The way to get there is to park the bus to the last stop and there, a van comes to pick up guests at Hosteria Lake Grey (you can ride without being hotel guest, negotiating the price with the driver). Once side of the lake, you can walk along the shore touching the icebergs, but if you have time, I recommend that you hire a boat trip to the glacier Grey.

Beau lac qui donne sur le glacier du même nom avec à l'autre extrêmité une petite plage sympathique. Le lac Grey vaut surtout pour ses impressionants blocs de glaces de couleur bleue céleste qui tronent sur ses eaux calmes comme d'étranges petits icebergs. C'est cette couleur si particulière qui donna son nom au parc, Paine signifiant Bleu en indien Tehuelche. Il est possible de s'y balader en bateau pendant trois heures environ pour s'approcher un peu du glacier.

Beautiful lake overlooking the glacier of the same name at the other end with a nice little beach. Lake Grey is especially impressive for its ice blocks celestial blue that decorate its calm waters as strange small icebergs. It is this special color that gave the park its name, meaning Blue Paine in Indian Tehuelche. It is possible to walk there by boat for about three hours to get a little of the glacier.

El sur de Chile es fantástico, al igual que el de Argentina. Pero no está tan masificado el turismo. Hay lagos y glaciares espectaculares. Esto es un paseo por el lago Grey. Casi solos, y con un mal tiempo que añadió belleza a la foto, como una bandera de grises. Nunca me cansaría de regresar a varios países, y Chile es uno de ellos.

The south of Chile is fantastic, like the one in Argentina. But tourism is not so popular. There are spectacular lakes and glaciers. This is a walk on Lake Gray. Almost alone, and with a bad weather that added beauty to the photo, like a flag of grays. I would never tire of returning to several countries, and Chile is one of them.
