Series of ceremonies
The Kharsodkala welcoming committee had prepared a series of ceremonies to celebrate the arrival of HariSingh, which consisted in entering the various temples of the cities to greet the gods and their representations. The ritual was as followed: put on a necklace of flowers, hug, enter the temple, and, either sitting or standing, be anointed with a red dot on the forehead by the priest and receive a small drink of a holy water. Then another flower necklace. The first three were very interesting, but after about a dozen, the flowers become something of a nightmare. I was still in "fifth dimension."
