Opa!
So, I have to admit, I love all things Greek, so when I saw this this Greek cafe/emporium open up on Malasaña I went directly to the ATM and stocked up my fridge. The place is awesome, and has everything from Greek white wine, retsina (glorious, glorious retsina!), and Ouzo to Greek olive oils, canned olives, rice, beans, cured meats, cheeses, yogurts, seasonings, and just about everything you can imagine. Even Greek bottled water!
They have a small kitchen where they cook up Greek classics like moussaka (like a Greek eggplant lasagna), taramosalata ( a spread made of fish eggs), salads, tzatziki, stuffed grape leaves, and all kinds of baked pastry desserts. You can select a full menu, which basically means a first dish (salad, spread, etc.), an entrée, a dessert, and a drink for only 9 euros and either get it to go or eat it in one of the high-stool tables right there in the store.
