Great Wall of South China

About 15 km from Fenghuang you can enjoy the Southern Great Wall. This wall has nothing to do with the one in Beijing, but it is full of history and tradition. To get there you should take a local bus from Fenghuang. The journey is about 15 km but as the bus stops it can take up to 1 hour. The entrance to the wall will cost about 5 euros, there are some Chinese tourists but they could be counted on the fingers of one hand, the absence of foreign tourists in Fenghuang is also noticeable here, so you can enjoy the enclave and the wall. It's a great place, when you get to the end, you see and pass through several villages.
