Es una de las obras más destacadas del Palacio de Verano, es un pasillo techado de más de 750 metros de largo. La emperatriz ordenó construir este corredor para poder moverse por el Palacio sin preocuparse por las inclemencias del tiempo. El techo está decorado con más de 14.000 pinturas con escenas sobre la historia de China. Lo más llamativo es que en sus columnas hay alrededor de 8000 pinturas con escenas de paisajes tradicionales, batallas, pájaros y muestras de caligrafía china.
