Grande Beach

Playa Grande is situated on the western shore of the estuaryof the river Arade, south of Ferragudo. It lies hidden and collects at the entrance of the port area of ​​Portimao and just north of the fort of Sao Joao do Arade, a beautiful stronghold that looks out over the sea and has stairs that open to a beach cove next to a hidden bar. The white sandy beach and with a wooden board walk is of the perfect size, it has a playground, beach volleyball net, an area with parasols and sun loungers, 4 restaurants and a rocky area with an interesting seabed.
