Relaxing open space in Downtown LA
Open spaces are hard to come by in Downtown Los Angeles, so Grand Park is a huge breath of fresh air. The park spans over three blocks, offering a clear view of LA City Hall. On site, there are also two fountains, a Starbucks and a wealth of pink benches to sit on. It’s a popular stop for locals and there are frequently events held, including yoga and food truck offerings during lunchtime. Grand Park is easily accessible via a number of Metro bus lines (check'https://www.metro.net' for details) and the Metro Red Line.
Public transit is a good way to get there because parking is challenging and expensive in the area. The park within walking distance to the Walt Disney Concert Hall and LA Department of Water and Power. It’s a great park to visit because it’s right in the heart of Downtown LA without kind of hustle and bustle that permeates most of the area.
