Grand Hôtel De La Poste

The Grand Hotel de la Poste is in the central square of Salon de Provence, next to the fountain and clock tower. You can do everything on foot, and thank goodness because the traffic is quite bad in this part of town. A two-minute walk to the historical center starts with the low colored Provençal houses, some pedestrian streets and planty of shops. It can be noisy in summer here because people gather to meet in the square. There are three cafes with terraces. Le Grand Hotel de la Poste is a former hostel which belonged to the post office. They stopped the horses and carriages there as they carried the mail around the country.
