Grand City Airport Hotel Stuttgart Messe is a good choice if you have an early flight to catch, as it's within walking distance of the terminal; you can get there in less than 5 minutes. Upon arrival, we saw that the exterior was undergoing some construction work, with some scaffolding up, but getting inside wasn't a problem. The reception staff were fast and friendly, and the room was a pleasant surprise (we had heard some negative commentary): all the furniture was new, modern, and bright, with two LCD televisions, two large beds, and a spacious bathroom. Excellent soundproofing. Early in the morning, there was a small buffet with free coffee, croissants, butter, and jam.
