Great Tarajal is a small town of about 7,000 people, which I found very cute. It is on the southeast coast of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura, and, contrary to some very touristy towns of the Canaries, is a quiet town, with a real life, you have tourists but mostly its own identity. It belongs to the municipality of Tuineje. Great Tarajal beaches are great, have all the public baths, security, there are showers on the beach, there are also ice cream vendors on the boardwalk and you can eat delicious Canarian food. Grand Tarajal was the economic center and capital of the south of the island, was an important point to commercial level, but now is the most important town Jandia.
