Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo hotel

Of the choices available, the Bahia Principe Samana Resorts is the only family hotel (ie not reserved only for adults), so if you're traveling with children this has to be your choice. It is also situated on what I believe is the best beach that we visited. Firstly because it is kilometers long and you can walk and walk along it whenever you want (fine sand and clear waters) and because it has some beautiful sunsets and sunrises. It also has plenty of pools and a terrace overlooking the sea where you can eat or drink. The entertainment team is fantastic and apart from the usual entertainment shows they also have beach parties.
