Good River Viewpoint

We left Falmouth to go to Ocho Rios along the A-1, which runs along the coast, and after a while our driver and local guide, Mike, made a brief stop at the viewpoint so we could enjoy the magnificent views as from here you can see Rio Bueno. The view is spectacular, as the village at the bottom is surrounded by hills covered by green vegetation that contrasts with the turquoise blue Caribbean Sea. On the roadside we drank coconut water from the small van that also sold typical souvenirs. Rio Bueno is a small Jamaican village that has an historically important port, the deepest in Jamaica, and where Christopher Columbus arrived to.
