Inside the Tsuglagkhang complex you'll find the Buddhist sanctuary with the same name unpronounceable.It's very beautiful and of great importance for the Tibetan people, it is also the Dalai Lama temple. The most outstanding piece of art is the great golden statue of the Buddha Sakyamuni in the lotus position; in the center, made of silver, with eleven faces, a thousand hands and a thousand eyes,is Avalokistesvara, deity of compassion (the Tibetans consider the Dalai Lama his reincarnation) and finally, also in gold, the Padmasambhava staute or Guru Rinpoche (author of Bardo Thodo or Tibetan Book of the Dead).
When I left i saw a sign prohibiting taking photos inside the temple (not prohibited in the rest of Tsuglagkhang), it was a bit late ... sorry.
