Hotel Goldener Hirsch, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Salzburg

The Goldener Hirsch is one of the best luxury hotels in Salzburg. It is located in the city centre on a very commercial pedestrian street. The decor is classic Austrian, and the rooms and bathrooms are huge and very comfy. It has a very good restaurant which you should try even if you're not a guest at the hotel. The helpful staff lives up to the hotel's rating. An interesting note I must mention is that it has hosted European nobility (Caroline of Monaco) and music stars (Placio Domingo or Von Karajan). One last thing, if you go by car, don't worry over the pedestrian street, just tell the hotel when you plan to arrive and the staff will take care of the car.
