Gokarna Mahadev

Junto a un río Bagmati aún limpio en este tramo se puede visitar el tranquilo y poco turístico templo de Gokarna Mahadev. El complejo, de estilo newar, está compuesto por varios edificios, en uno de los cuales hay una placa con una huella de Visnú. Cerca del ghats que bajan al río hay una escultura de Narayan, una de los avatares de Siva, y en todo el recinto se pueden contemplar infinidad de esculturas de todo el panteón hindú.

Next to a river Bagmati an clean on this stretch you can visit the quiet little tourist Gokarna Mahadev temple. The complex of Newar style, is composed of several buildings, one of which is a plaque with a footprint of mink. Near the ghats leading down to the river there is a sculpture of Narayan, one of the avatars of Shiva, and in all areas can be seen countless sculptures around the Hindu pantheon.
