eXplorador Escocés
A good spot for nature lovers
In full Highlands (Highlands), in the south - west of them, way to Dalmally (Argyll and Bute) we found this tiny, unknown Glen, frequently visited by hikers starting up, by its plain and easy orientation. Of the hundreds of glens in Scotland this is an example of the least known and least visited. Scottish Glen means valley, but usually includes connotations to the word about its origin, glaciers, hence its appearance, usually abrupt. In this case it is a quiet ride, lovely with many trees, flowers, river and mountain. Totally inaccessible in the winter snow and frost, but in spring - summer a visual feast.
