Prestigious
The DHM or Deutschers Historical Museum is the museum of German history. Down the prestigious Unter den Linden, just as you cross the river to access the Museum Island. The oldest monument in the avenue, the Zeughaus, is Baroque, and built by the Prussian King Frederick 1. Admission is 4 euros and the museum is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. The Zeughaus served the Prussian army and arsenal, and turned it into a museum of the army in 1871. Much of the collections disappeared during World War II. Restored to present German history, on two levels of 10000 square meters. Start from the middle ages to arrive at the present time.
