George Abbot
This is another of my favorite pubs in Guildford. It's at the bottom of High Street, next to the River Wey. So it's a greener place, and it's a dead end, so there's no traffic passing constantly. There are a few pavement tables where you can sit, always remembering that in England there's no table service. You must get up, go to the bar to get your beers and pay every time every time you go, and return to your table. Prices are average for Guildford. A pint of beer costs about £3, and is usually served with a light snack. At night they have a big screen where they show national football matches.
