The generator of Berlin is part of a group that operates a hostel in London with the same name. This lodge boasts more than 900 beds, and facilities such as the Generator Bar open until dawn, the outdoor patio and restaurant. It's about 20 minutes from downtown, but offer a walking tour route and a route for the best bars in the city, totally free.

The Best Hostel in Berlin

Excellent

I visited this youth hostel during an end-of-the-year trip with my school. I understand that it is the largest in Germany; it is a 7-storey building and has everything from a computer room to its own pub. I only have good memories of the place and I couldn't think of a better hostel while visiting the German capital.

Great and cheap youth hostel in Berlin

El albergue está en el barrio Prezlauer Berg. Aunque no está muy céntrico, está bastante bien comunicado. Tiene a 100 metros una parada de metro y tren (Landsberger Allee) y también parada de tranvía (justo encima de la estación. Es un albergue muy grande (7 plantas) y muy en el estilo del Generator Hostel de Londres pero más moderno. Habitaciones sencillas, baños compartidos, personal muy atento, servicio de consigna, internet (de pago), bar... lo peor los desayunos (aunque incluídos en el precio, no son muy allá).

The hostel is in the neighborhood Prezlauer Berg. Although not centrally located, it's pretty well connected. It has a stop 100 meters underground and train (Landsberger Allee) and tram stop (just above the station. Hostel is a very large (7 floors) and very much in the style of Generator Hostel London but more modern. Rooms simple, shared bathrooms, very attentive staff, luggage storage, internet (fee), bar ... the worst breakfasts (included in the price but are not quite there).

El albergue esta situado en la parte de Berlin que perteneció a la RDA, esta bien comunicado por tren a sus espaldas y tranvía a menos de 100m de la puerta, que te deja en AlexanderPlazt en escasos 10 minutos. Tiene 7 plantas y esta todo nuevo y bien conservado, las habitaciones comodas y limpias, los baños siempre limpios. Dispone de conexión a internet gratuita en las zonas comunes de la planta baja.

The hostel is located in the part of Berlin that belonged to the GDR, is well connected by rail and tram behind within 100m of the door, which leaves you in AlexanderPlazt in just 10 minutes. It has 7 floors and is all new and well maintained, the rooms comfortable and clean, the bathrooms clean. It offers free Wi-Fi in public areas on the ground floor.
