An important tourist stop
In the south west of the island of Martha's Vineyard, standing in the middle of a desolate landscape worthy of Scotland, you will find the lighthouse. It was the first thing to be built on the island and remains an important tourist stop today. It is accessible by car or bus. There is a small parking lot where you can have a snack, and several hiking trails that allow you to go to the lighthouse or continue further along the surrounding cliffs. The interior of the lighthouse can still be visited, but it is only open during the summer months.
