Garret Street and Chiado Square

3 reviews of Garret Street and Chiado Square

Exceptional buildings

A stately local shopping street with great tradition. You must browse this street to Chiado Square if you visit Lisbon. You can have a coffee in the iconic Brazilian cafe, visit Bertrand library (founded in the eighteenth century) and the Church of Loreto (Baroque style, with interesting paintings inside that mimic statues). You have to stop at the spectacular square to admire the exceptional buildings.
