Strolling along the river from the bridge to the opposite side of Westminster Abbey, opposite the London Eye, you can find one of the best views of the Houses of Parliament (in fact, many TV channels broadcast live from this spot). And when you get to the first bridge you will see on your left there is a tower in red brick (Lambeth Palace) and next to it, something which looks like a church. But in fact this was de-consecrated over 20 years ago and is now home to the Garden Museum, a place that really reflects the famous British eccentricity. Inside you'll find a strange collection of objects associated with the local history of gardening.
