Galve

Es un pequeño pueblo perteneciente a la Comunidad de Teruel, ubicado junto al río Alfambra, en una depresión con aspecto de páramo, a escasos kilómetros de la comarca del Maestrazgo. Por esta razón, no resulta extraño que Galve se incluya dentro del Parque Cultural de Maestrazgo. Famoso sobre todo por sus restos de dinosaurios y museo paleontológico del que creo rincón a parte. Dentro del casco urbano la edificación religiosa más representativa es la iglesia parroquial de la Asunción, de estilo barroco, construida a finales del siglo XVII. La torre, de tres cuerpos de mampostería y ladrillo, se ubica a los pies del templo. En el interior destaca el magnífico retablo mayor, de estuco policromado, y digno tammbién de interés es un interesante puente de época medieval sobre el río Alfambra, así como áreas naturales destacadas, de las que buenos ejemplos son las hoces de los Ríos Bajos y los Ríos Altos, excavadas por el propio río.

It is a small village belonging to the Community of Teruel, Alfambra located along the river, in a depression-like wasteland, a few kilometers from the region of Mastership. For this reason, it is not surprising that Galve be included within the Mastership Cultural Park. Famous in particular for its remains of dinosaurs and paleontological museum I think besides corner. Within the urban area most representative religious building is the parish church of the Assumption, in Baroque style, built in the late seventeenth century. The tower, of three bodies of stone and brick, is located at the foot of the temple. In the interior, the magnificent altarpiece in polychrome stucco and tammbién worthy of interest is an interesting medieval bridge over the river Alfambra and outstanding natural areas, of which good examples are the gorges of the Netherlands and Rivers Rivers Altos, excavated by the river itself.

Galve es un lugar privilegiado por las rocas que conforman su territorio, formadas en ambientes costeros y continentales del Jurásico Superior y Cretácico Inferior, albergan un importante registro fósil de vertebrados continentales (por cantidad, calidad y diversidad), el cual ilustra fielmente los ecosistemas terrestres de ese momento de la historia de la Tierra y convierte a Galve en uno de los lugares más apreciados y reconocidos de Europa a nivel paleontológico.

Galve is a privileged place for the rocks that make up the territory, formed in inland and coastal environments of the Upper Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous, host a major continental vertebrate fossil record (for quantity, quality and diversity), which faithfully illustrates terrestrial ecosystems that moment in the history of the Earth and Galve makes one of the most appreciated and recognized in Europe at the level paleontology.
