A stunning building
The royal palace of the Sabauda family is, today, the splended National Museum, standing in the heart of the monumental Via Balbi. It was built in the seventeen century, inherited by Eugenio Durazzo in 1677, who transformed it into the stunning baroque building it is today. In 1824 it came into the possession of the Savoia family, who adopted it as their residence. Today it houses some stunning collections.
