The palace of the devil
This palace is located in the historic centre of Trento, and is also nicknamed Palace of the Devil, because according to Goethe, it was built by the devil in one day! In fact, it was built by Georg Fugger of the powerful German family. Years later, it was bought by the Imperial Marshal Galasso. The palace was built in the classical style by the famous architect Brescia Bagnadore. The interiors are not open to the public, apart from the inner courtyard. It's a fascinating historical monument, though, dating from the early seventeenth century!
