KGB Headquarters
The Lubyanka Building evokes a lot of memories. Firstly, it was the headquarters of the Soviet KGB (now the FSB, the Russian secret service). Today, the statue of the founder of this controversial institution has been removed, but the building still stands as it always has. There are a lot of bars and restaurants nearby, as well as the Polytechnic Museum. The nearest metro is obviously Lubyanka, on the Red Line (1).
