An exciting river trip
Frontera Echeverria is the last place where you'll have your passport stamped, since this river forms the border with Guatemala and separates the two countries. After this stop we came to a little town full of filthy kids and where the boaters lived.
The town was full of barracks and its only street was full of piled barrels of gasoline for the engines of the boats that filled the pier. More than watercrafts, they were motorized canoes in which you can either go upstream to Yachitxlán or downstream to the Guatemalan border town of Bethel.
