Historic backpacker's place
The Friendly's Guesthouse is in well-known in Malate, historically the backpacker area of Manila. It has seen better times but is still a very nice and inexpensive. They have several bedrooms with A / C which cost about 7 € bed, and singles, very small with fan cost about € 11 so only worth it for couples or groups. The best thing is its rooftop terrace, free Wi-Fi, a large TV and a sofa, and beautiful views of Manila. On Fridays barbecues, you just have to take the meat and they cook it.
