Fridley Historical Society

The Fridley Historical Society in Minneapolis was founded in 1985 with the purpose of saving Fridley School District 23 from being demolished. It was a historic school next to Hayes Elementary School. It's the only community in Anoka County that has its own local museum that aims to lay the foundation for the transformation of a Virtual Museum Center, expanding the scope of the Historical Society programs and events to more citizens which will help generate video production of family histories, businesses and organizations.
