Frankish Castle

At the highest point of Parikia the castle can be found. It was built in 1260 by the Venetian Duke of Naxos. In what was the castle, was built a small Orthodox church. To reach the castle, it is easiest to follow the promenade (near the coast), but to return to center Parokia.
