A gateway to history
The Frankford Society preserves and presents the history of Northeast Philadelphia and the region. It recognizes the Frankford neighborhood as a gateway to the historical and geographical region entries through historical documents of people, places, events, and traditions of the Northeast Philadelphia metropolitan area. They are interpreted and serve as an advocate for the preservation of historic resources of the region.
