Complete Rapa Nui Collection
The museum is divided into two parts. One of the floors is devoted entirely to anthropology and has a first floor that is entirely devoted to a samples of Chilean plants. The anthropology in one of the sections highlights the Mapuche people and how they lived on the island of Rapa Nui. There you'll find a large Easter Island collection of things, one of the most comprehensive of its kind as we hear, even more complete than the Museum on the island. Also, in the garden there is a real "Moai", Easter Island, which can be seen without entering the museum but worth doing. Hours: Monday to Friday: 10:00 to 18:00 hrs.
