Foz do Arelho Beach

Foz do Arelho (Portugal) is a small town near Obidos, north of Lisbon, with a wonderful beach. It's a sea inlet that forms the famous Obidos Lagoon. You have the open sea and on the other side a huge saltwater lagoon. A pretty wild beach, like almost all of Portugal, with white sand and plenty of space. As well as the many tours of the area (Sintra, Obidos, etc), I recommend the road to Sao Martinho do Porto, about 15 minutes of very cool sea cliff. If, that is, if... it's not too cloudy to see anything.
