An oasis in the literary history of Gabo
You must visit the mythical European literary cafe named, the Cave, in the busy city of Barranquilla. Every time I visit Colombia I must stop at this oasis. You can meet the artists of the Group of Barranquilla, led by Gabriel García Márquez, then abandoned and happily recovered in 2002 and not only as a museum tributed to the artists, but as a reference in the kitchen Barranquilla. A kitchen with fresh ingredients and a touch of fusion to form a modern classic in the capital of the Magdalena River at good prices. Do not be surprised if you come across a film screening, a short story competition, or carnival arts (oral and intangible heritage of humanity) if you are lucky and visit the city at that time or a gathering paired with a long list of cocktails with funny and suggestive titles.
