1 review of Fort of Mandu (water Palace)

A porch submerged in water

This bend that can be seen in the photos is drenched with water during the rainy season, the water level rises to the red marble platform ithat you can see in front of the main gate of the palace. This makes it look like you have a porch submerged in water. These ideas, these small details of the kings can be found in abundance in this tremendous fortress. Not only at the whim of a rajah, but for several of them over the years were succeeding each other. Just imagine how they could be when with their queens, with their families and even their friends at any time of day at this genuine and unique "Water Palace".

The mere thought almost makes me travel back in time. The evening breeze and sunset in this forgotten corner of India is just superb. An unforgettable place to visit.
