Here you can see with your own eyes the scars of war. A poignant, sobering moment during your trip to Mostar. Almost twenty years after the war ended, the effects can still be seen across Bosnia, with buildings destroyed by bombs or riddled with grenades next to new and reconstructed structures. In Spanksi Square and in the adjacent avenues, you can see one of the best examples of this.
