Unique and Precious Forest
Baka Pygmies live in an environment that is more than privileged. The villages are immersed in a unique and precious woods where you can find all kinds of trees, shrubs, flowers, etc.The predominant colour of these forests is green, there are a thousand different shades of green which with the sun's rays provide a truly spectacular beauty. These forests have barely any roads, they are completely wild and this increases the beauty of the place because you cannot see a human touch here. When you get into the forest you quickly understand because to the pygmies the forest is their god and their life.
As they have always lived in this environment, the Pygmies know by heart every part of the forest and the live within it. They eat the fruit out of the forest, hunt and collect their water. It is amazing to see how they handle themselves in the forest. One day we accompanied one of them and watched in seconds as climbed the giant trees despite his small stature- he had an incredible climbing prowess. Also, they know all the plants and all animals, they can tell you what each thing is for. It's awesome.
