Fonte Mourisca

La Fonte Mourisca, constructed in 1922 by the sculptor José da Fonseca, is situated in the center of Sintra, close to other attractions in the city such as the Park Liberdade or City Hall. This is an input fountain with many carved details, like the shield of Sintra. To get to Sintra by public transport, you can use the train from Lisbon and leaves you in the Sintra station.

Look for it's beauty, and hear for it's sound: try to hum, or talk right in the middle of the fountain, looking for the water. You'll have a stereo awesome effect. Now sing! And enjoy!
