Fonte Dos Peixes Square

This translates as Fish Square and is located in the center of town and next to the impressive Mother Church. It is well known for its very colourful mural tiles which represent the town of Castro Daire. It is also known as "Source of Fish" which gives its name to the small square. The Source of Fish is made of stone and dates back to 1921, as indicated by an inscription, and at the back is another lovely mosaic tile in blue, so typical of the area of ​​Beira Alta. Since this area is at a good altitude, you can see some beautiful views of the Valley.
