Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque

2 reviews of Tanjung Bungah Floating Mosque

An incredible place

Although the name doesn't reflect it, this mosque actually rests on many poles in the water. It's located eight kilometres from the centre of Georgetown, on the road leading to Batu Ferringgi and the National Park of Pulau Penang. The mosque can be seen from the road, and a detour of a few metres on the right allows you to stop in the parking lot to get a good look at this place of worship. You can get there by bike, car or bus number 101. A charming, majestic place.
