Hay un dicho muy popular sobre que "La curiosidad mató al gato" y según el diccionario “es una frase que proviene de otra expresión inglesa del siglo XVII: "la preocupación mató al gato" dado que los gatos son muy precavidos en cuanto a meter sus narices en cualquier lugar. Este dicho “advertía que preocuparse en exceso es malo para la salud.” Con el paso del tiempo “preocupación se convirtió en curiosidad”. En realidad y particularmente a mí ser curiosa, en el buen sentido de la palabra, me deparó gratos descubrimientos en los sitios por los que he salido de excursión y uno de estos ha sido Terrassa y todo lo que por allí he visto, como por ejemplo esta escultura de acero inoxidable que fuera colocada en esta Placeta luego de la remodelación de la misma. Escultura que fuera donación de la viuda del Escultor Ferran Bach-Esteve la que hoy forma parte de los Monumentos y Esculturas de la ciudad. Escultura vanguardista realmente llamativa, especialmente por estar colocada en un sitio al que rodean varias y antiguas construcciones pues al ser tan moderna produce un llamativo contraste. La obra es un símbolo de las pruebas realizadas en la ciudad para la participación en los Juegos Olímpicos de 1992.
