Cala Finestrat Beach

Defying the abyss, this small town is perched on the edge of Puig Campana, one of the highest peaks of Valencia and a nature reserve. Its historic center, of Moorish origin, offers a viewpoint of the most spectacular views of the Mediterranean. 7 km from the old town is La Cala de Finestrat, the only beach in the city. With fine sand, crystal clear water and 300 meters long, this beach has a special microclimate thanks to the protection offered by the Puig Campana. Finestrat borders municipalities such as Villajoyosa and Benidorm. There is a hiking trail and you can climb the Puig Campana, 1,410 meters above sea level, and enjoy one of the most breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coast.
