The landing on the beach was quite a sight - Moors and Christians in El Campello
Brilliant spectacle of troops landing on the Clot de l'Illot of Carrerlamar beach of El Campello. It is an act full of color and intensity, the firing of cannons and muskets gives it that warrior touch and leads us to the Middle Ages, not to mention the gorgeous costumes. There is a parade of the troops back to the Torre de la Illeta and the first Parliament also thought it was great. It summarizes several centuries of history in just three days and is a wonderful 'adventure' ... and how we live 'els campellers'.
