Each year, coinciding with the end of the fishing season, the coastal ports of Armor in Brittany hold a special event to pay tribute to one of the finest delicacies of the Atlantic Ocean: scallops! The month of April is the perfect time to celebrate this great Festival of Viera of Saint-Jacques. If you're on a diet, I recommend not going because eating becomes an obligation during the festival. In two days, you can test all kinds of different specialties of scallops. You won't even have time to breathe! At each port of the coast of Brittany, there are small shops offering numerous recipes (traditional and new) that are to die for! You can tour around at your leisure and go to all the stalls while trying skewers and listening to Celtic music.
