Fields of Lavender in the Luberon

Lavender doesn't only grow in France, and it's not the only thing, but we must recognize that the French have majestic examples of these crops. And really, when the lavender is in full bloom during late June the aroma is overwhelming. This field is right outside the village of Bonnieux and is authentically beautiful. If you are in the area and lavender is flowering, you can not help but get close.
