I got to Copacabana and was told that there was a party. Yes, I always seem to be lucky. Despite a devastating bus journey of 10 hours, I ran to the hostel, left my backpack and went straight back out with my camera. I had moved to another century: Copacabana, Bolivia as a whole, does not look like anything in this world. Trying to hide my camera, I went to the shore of Lake Titicaca where there was a concentration of people. Today, March 23rd, is the Day of the Sea, apparently , and I thought the sea was the Titicaca. It made sense: The lake, a spectacular ocean of clear water at 3800 meters high, and considered sacred, had to have its day.
